Bangladeshis stuck in India can return through land ports

Bangladeshi citizens stuck in different cities in India due to the ongoing suspension of flights with the neighbouring country will be able to return through land ports.

In that case, the returning Bangladeshis will have to stay in 14-day mandatory institutional quarantine under government management. 

The decision was taken at an inter-ministerial meeting held virtually on Thursday night. Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen presided over the meeting.

Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmad, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbul Ali and respective officials from other ministries and departments were also present at the meeting.
