Turkish Airlines adds one more weekly flight on Dhaka-Istanbul route
Turkish Airlines today announced an additional weekly flight on the Dhaka-Istanbul route, scheduled to operate from tomorrow due to a growing number of passengers from Dhaka.
Earlier on July 17, Turkish Airlines resumed its flight operations on the Dhaka-Istanbul-Dhaka route with three weekly flights on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
From mid-August, the national flag carrier of Turkey started operating four weekly flights on Sundays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Thursdays, said Ejaz Kadry, sales and traffic officer at the Dhaka office of Turkish Airlines, told The Daily Star.
To make the journey more comfortable, the flight from Dhaka is being operated by a state-of-the-art Dreamliner 787-9 model aircraft, the airlines said in a press release.
Established in 1933, the Turkish national airliner is serving air travelers with a fleet of 338 aircraft in both passenger and cargo divisions.
Turkish Airlines operates flights to 41 domestic and 306 destinations in 124 countries.
