The prime indices of Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, added 9 points, or 0.14 per cent, to 6,347 at 11:45 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 232 crore.

Of the securities, 106 advanced, 56 declined and 121 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, rose 15 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 18,725.

Of the issues, 43 rose, 26 retreated, and 34 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 2.6 crore at 11:50 am.
