Stocks fall for fourth day

All indices of the Dhaka and Chattogram bourses fell in the morning session today, stretching the losses to the fourth consecutive day.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), lost 8 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 6,247 at 11:20am.

Turnover, a key indicator of the market, stood at Tk 123 crore.

Of the securities, 32 advanced, 124 declined and 97 did not show any price movement.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, lost 11 points, or 0.6 per cent, to 18,466.

Of the issues, 14 rose, 24 retreated and 22 did not see any price swing.
