Buet student crushed under train in Moghbazar

A student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) was crushed under the wheels of a speeding train at Moghbazar in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Tanveer Gawher Tapu, 23, son of Ali Gawhar, a resident of Moghbazar. He was a 3rd year student of Civil Engineering of Buet.

Witnesses said Tanveer was crushed under the train while he was crossing Moghbazar level crossing around 11:00am.
Later, he was whisked off to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where on-duty doctors declared him dead, said Assistant Sub-inspector Sentu Chandra Das, in-charge of DMCH police camp.
