Nayeem-Mithila starrer 'Jole Jole Tara' receives Censor clearance
"Jole Jole Tara," starring FS Nayeem and Rafiath Rashid Mithila and directed by Arun Chowdhury, has received the Censor certificate from the Bangladesh Censor Board.
Inspired by Syed Waliullah's short story "Keraya," "Jole Jole Tara" takes audiences on a journey through a unique narrative. The film's protagonist, Tara, portrayed by Rafiath Rashid Mithila, embodies the essence of the story.
Speaking about her role, Mithila shared her enthusiasm, stating, "I always look out for woman-centric stories and feel very privileged to be a part of this production."
FS Nayeem, another lead actor of the film, expressed his excitement for the project and the story it portrays. "I signed up for this film because of the likeable story. The story of 'Jole Jole Tara' is very simple yet beautiful and unique," Nayeem shared.
He added, "The character I am playing is different from my usual look. I have rehearsed for the character for months. I can only say that the audience hasn't seen me this way before."
The film secured government grants for the fiscal year 2020-21. "Jole Jole Tara" also marks FS Nayeem's return to the big screen after a decade, following his appearance in Khijir Hayat Khan's 2010 directorial, "Jaago."
With the story written by Iffat Arifin Tonni, Raihan Khan is the cinematographer of the production. The film will also have songs by Kumar Bishwajit and Imran.
The film will also feature Fazlur Rahman Babu, Azad Abul Kalam Pavel, Munira Akhtar, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Iqbal, Shokh, and Obid Rehan, among others.
