SRK’s Meer Foundation supports family of hit and run victim
Shah Rukh Khan's welfare organisation, the Meer Foundation, recently came forward to help the family of Anjali Singh—the victim of a hit-and-run case.
According to media reports, 20-year-old Anjali Singh—who was the sole breadwinner of her family—breathed her last in Delhi's Kanjhawala area, after a road accident on January 1.
Now, the "Om Shanti Om'' superstar's Meer Foundation has donated an undisclosed sum of monetary relief to Anjali Singh's family.
The Meer foundation was named after SRK's late-father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan. The non-profit organisation works at the grassroot level, with the aim of empowering women and building a safe environment for everyone.
