'Tejas': Kangana Ranaut becomes fearless Air Force pilot
Kangana Ranaut, in collaboration with RSVP Movies, has unveiled the teaser for her forthcoming film, "Tejas," on X (formerly Twitter). In the movie, Kangana portrays the character of an Indian Air Force pilot.
The teaser shows the actor dressed in a flight suit, preparing for takeoff at an Air Force station. She looks powerful in her uniform. The makers posted the teaser with a caption that read, "She is ready to take off for the love of her nation. If you touch India, she will not leave you. Tejas In cinemas on 27th October."
Kangana Ranaut, when discussing the project, expressed, "Very often, the sacrifices made by our brave women in uniform go unnoticed by the nation. Tejas is a film where I have the honour of playing the role of one such Air Force pilot who puts country before self. I hope we instil a sense of patriotism and pride in the youth of today with this movie. I'm looking forward to the journey with Sarvesh and Ronnie on this one."
Originally scheduled for release in December 2020, "Tejas" has faced multiple delays. Kangana Ranaut announced the film's release date in August 2020, emphasising its celebration of the courage and sacrifices of the armed forces. However, it has seen postponements. Initially set to premiere on October 20 alongside "Ganapath," the film will now hit theaters on October 27.
