The 23rd Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) commenced last Saturday (January 11) to showcase 220 films from 75 countries across 10 categories. This year the festival includes 44 Bangladeshi films.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has delayed the Oscar 2025 nominations announcement for a second time due to the Los Angeles wildfires. Initially, the voting period was extended by two days to provide members with more time, moving the announcement to January 19.
