Stocks keep rising
Stocks in Bangladesh rose today, stretching the gains to the third consecutive session.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), went up 15 points, or 0.24 per cent, to 6,282 at 12 noon.
Turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 306 crore.
Of the securities, 64 advanced, 25 declined and 236 did not show any price movement.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 19 points, or 0.10 per cent, to 18,478.
Of the issues, 33 rose, 14 retreated and 73 did not see any price swing.
