Stocks edge down
Stocks in Bangladesh edged down in the morning session today.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), lost 4 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 6,288 at 11:15 am.
Turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 149 crore.
Of the securities, 36 advanced, 129 declined and 121 did not show any price movement.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, dropped 18 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 18,557.
Of the issues, 18 rose, 41 retreated and 34 did not see any price swing.
