Tigers get off to flying start
Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das gave the Tigers a flying start in chase of Ireland's 101 as they raced off to 71 for no loss after eight overs in the third ODI of the three-match series at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
Tigers skipper Tamim smashed five fours and one six for his unbeaten 28-ball 33, which is his highest score in the series, while Liton, who got a reprieve on 13, was not out on 27 off 20 deliveries.
Liton cut a short and wide one from Graham Hume which went fast and straight to Harry Tector at backward point but the fielder
failed to grab hold of it as Liton scampered away for a single in the sixth over.
Earlier, Ireland were bundled out for 101 after they opted to bat first.
