Winrock International's anti-human trafficking "Awareness Raising Concert and a Documentary Show" came to a closure earlier today in Cox's Bazar. The concert was held in Cox's Bazar's Laboni sea beach from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Initially, Winrock International arranged a month-long series of concerts helmed by popular bands alongside a documentary presentation titled "Agun Pakhi" in four districts of Bangladesh, starting on May 4.

So far, concerts in Khulna, Satkhira, and Jessore have already concluded with Cox's Bazar being the last stop.

At the event, the popular bands Dalchhut, and Madal mesmerised the audience with their performances. Meanwhile, the documentary show aimed to raise awareness about human trafficking and protecting the victims.

Starting in 2018, the event is a part of a campaign to restore the dignity, well-being, and self-sufficiency of men and women who have escaped trafficking, by providing them with the services needed.

The concerts were initiated under the "Ashsash Project" of Winrock International and supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh.
