Muted sunrise
Silent hues as the day awakens,
it is the morning glow, rather soft and shy,
whispers of light and fragments of morning,
painting the canvas of the sky.
No vibrant strokes of fiery gold,
nor blinding beams of ivory white,
instead, a tale that gently unfolds,
it is a quiet symphony of tender morning light.
The hush of dawn and the whispered breeze,
that caresses nature's resting face,
as muted colours sway with ease,
it creates a tranquil, sacred space.
For in the quiet, there lies power,
a stillness only our souls can feel,
an invitation for us to slow the pace of the hour,
as we begin to let the quiescence heal.
