‘Cultural Fest 2.0’ to showcase youth talent from 15 universities
"Cultural Fest 2.0," a national youth talent competition is set to take place on November 15 at the Aloki Convention Centre in Gulshan in the capital.
Organised by Event Box, in partnership with Aarong Dairy, the event has been designed to celebrate creativity and provide a platform for emerging talent.
The competition will bring together students from 15 prominent universities across Bangladesh. Participants from both public and private institutions will compete in four key categories: dance, music, theatre, and painting.
Following the competition, attendees will enjoy live performances by five well-known bands—Callypso, Tarun Band, Kaaktaal, AvoidRafa, and Shironamhin.
Sabrina Rahman, CEO of Event Box and the lead organiser of Cultural Fest, emphasised the event's vision, stating, "Our mission is to inspire the next generation by offering them a space to express their creativity. We believe that events like this not only encourage individual growth but also support cultural development across the country."
Wahid Ohi, CSO of Event Box, highlighted the collective effort behind the event. "''Cultural Fest 2.0' embodies the unified passion of our partners and the students. Together, we aim to create an unforgettable experience of music, dance, drama, and art," he shared.
The festival will begin at 10am with doors opening at 9am. Tickets are available for purchase through Event Box's official website.
More than just a competition, "Cultural Fest 2.0" aims to celebrate youth culture with support from a lineup of notable sponsors, including Polar Ice Cream, Foodi, Universal Medical, Get Set Rock, Toggi Fun World, Bongo Effect, Sozo Technology, Headgear, and Shohoz, among others.
