A large portion of the Rampura Road from Rampura TV Centre to Malibagh rail gate has turned into a nightmare for the commuters. Water-filled potholes and craters scattered all over the road and its uneven surface make it extremely difficult for the motorists to retain control over the vehicles, escalating risk of accidents. The sufferings multiply when the road gets submerged even in the slightest bit of rain. Moreover, the slow pace of ongoing development works has not only created obstruction on the road at different points, but dust cloud from the construction sites also reduces visibility and creates health hazards.
