Shahriar Shakil, the film’s producer, confirmed the news to The Daily Star. He is currently in Kolkata, where the movie will premiere later this evening. Raihan Rafi expressed his optimism, hoping that the West Bengal audience will embrace the film as warmly as the audience in Bangladesh has.

Starting from next week, "Shurongo" will be screened in over 50 theatres across the country.
