The Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer “Pushpa 2” is making history with its unprecedented box office performance.
"Pushpa 2: The Rule," starring Allu Arjun, has taken the global box office by storm, raking in over Rs 800 crore in just four days. The highly anticipated sequel, directed by Sukumar, is projected to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark before the end of its first week in theatres.
The December 4 stampede at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre during the screening of “Pushpa 2: The Rule” claimed the life of a female fan and left her son critically injured. In response, Allu Arjun announced a ₹25 lakh donation to the deceased woman’s family, pledging not only to cover their medical expenses but also to assist the children with their future needs to the best of his ability.
Despite the fanfare surrounding the release, reports suggest that high-definition versions of “Pushpa 2” have surfaced on notorious piracy websites such as Movierulez, Tamilrockerz, Filmyzilla, and Telegram.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by the film's creators, who posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying, "Pushpa Raj's dominance is redefining the box office with a new dimension."
The trailer opens with a character describing Pushpa Raj—a man unbothered by fear, wealth, or societal norms but burdened by an unnamed sorrow. As Allu Arjun's Pushpa emerges on screen, the energy surges with action-packed, high-octane sequences and his signature swag. This time around, Pushpa Raj is more powerful, having ascended through the ranks to control the red sanders’ smuggling trade.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production company of the film, explained the delay in a post on their official X handle. They emphasised the heightened responsibility following the success of "Pushpa: The Rise" and assured fans they were working diligently to finish the movie and release it on time.
Once Bangladesh opened its doors to Indian cinema, following a decision by the Ministry of Commerce, the import of Indian films was sanctioned, with a quota of 10 releases per year. This initiative commenced with the much-anticipated release of “Pathaan”, followed by a string of blockbusters including “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan”, “Jawan”, “Animal”, “Dunky”, and “Crew”. Now, following in tow, the South Indian film, “Pushpa 2 - The Rule”, is set to release in Bangladesh.
