Vistara Airlines starts Dhaka-Delhi flights
Vistara Airlines, a joint venture between India's Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has started operating regular flights between Dhaka and Delhi from today.
The India based airlines initially will operate weekly two flights on Dhaka-Delhi route under air bubble agreement between Bangladesh and India.
Vistara is the first airline in India to offer premium economy services.
The airlines arranged a programme at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to launch its maiden flight from Dhaka to Delhi.
Addressing the programme, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali called upon the airline authorities and passengers to abide by all health rules while travelling.
Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Doraiswami; Chairman, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur Rahman; Member (Operations) Air Commodore Md Khalid Hossain; Director, HSIA, Group Captain Touhid-Ul Ahsan, among others, were present at the programme.
