The winners of the 82nd Golden Globe Awards have been revealed, gaining widespread attention for the diversity of nominees in both film and television. 

Comedian Nikki Glaser, the host of the show, drew big laughs with jokes about Ozempic and politics, before playfully teasing several of the celebrities in the audience during her opening monologue.

Adrien Brody won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama Film for his role in "The Brutalist", a three-and-a-half-hour epic about a fictional architect. This marks the actor's second nomination and his first Golden Globe win.

The Netflix film "Emilia Pérez" continues to rack up awards, winning in categories such as female supporting actor for Zoe Saldaña, non-English language film, and original song. Demi Moore secured her first Globe, while "Conclave" earned the award for best film screenplay. In television, the drama "Shōgun" claimed four awards- Best Drama Series, Best TV Drama Actor for Hiroyuki Sanada, Best TV Drama Actress for Anna Sawai, and Best TV Supporting Actor for Tadanobu Asano. 

Universal's "Wicked" scored a major win for musicals by earning the award for best cinematic and box office achievement at the 2025 Golden Globes, following its impressive performance during the year-end holidays.

India's "All We Imagine As Light" was nominated for Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language but lost to Emilia Perez. Despite this, director Payal Kapadia made history as the first Indian filmmaker to receive a Best Director nomination at the Globes.

Kieran Culkin won Best Supporting Actor for his role in "A Real Pain" , marking his second Golden Globe after a previous win for "Succession".
